We set up firewalls and build out the store's network with VPN capabilities that allow for secure communication between sites - all of this while keeping PCI compliance in mind. Once built, these networks can allow stores the ability to do many different things - run the back office (and keep it segregated), support the store's surveillance cameras, run a wireless inventory, and finally provide guest Internet access if necessary.
